Seasickness & Transdermal Scopolamine

I will be doing my first open water ocean triathlon swim in a few months and I suffer from easily getting seasick. Whenever I have used the Transdermal Scopolamine patch to avoid seasickness (on the ocean), I avoid getting seasick quite nicely. In regards to triathlon and ethics, is it ok to use the patch when participating in an ocean water swim at a triathlon?

Thanks in advance for your input.

I know of no rules prohibiting the use of Scopolamine. Most people get sick while boating. Have you ever done an open ocean swim. I don't know of anyone who has gotten sea sick while swimming.
