I have beem swimming for about a month now and I seem to have a problem, I think I am allergic to something in the pool, maybe the clorine. I seem to be breaking out on my back, arms and legs. I am not giving up on the swimming, but may have to cut back to twice a week or even once. Any ideas? I was thinking, would a wet suit help?
Typically a wetsuit will exacerbate your problem. Wetsuits keep you warm by traping a layer of water between the suit and your skin. I'd try showering immediately after swimming and use lotion, Gold Bond or baby powder. Good luck.

Also, you may be breaking out do to the dry flaky skin clogging your pores. This happens to me, but only in the pool not at the lake. Try a good high quality (non-clogging) moisturizer after you get out of the pool.
