My first Tri I was 13 that was over 20 years ago. I ran in HS and a bit in college. Picked up the sport again in my 20's and am cominh off a 10 year hiatus.
Well I'm 45 and just started training about 6 months ago after watching a sprint triathlon. It's a challenge I know, but we all need them to make our lives interesting. Any other over 40's out there with some advice send it my way...
I'm 32.. Can't vote since I haven't actually _done_ the tri yet.. But, I'm registered for one in June and one in July. Just sprints - but considering I didn't know how to swim in December, I figure it's okay. =)
i competed in my first tri as the swim leg of a sprint when i was 17, did my first full sprint tri in 2002, only one a year... i finally fot serious and am going for my first olympic distance this summer
