Fairy Tales.......... - Triathlon Week

Remember when you were a kid and you used to read fairy tales, then as you got older you discovered the stories weren't true?
Well, the next time someone tries to tell you magic beans don't exist, you can tell them otherwise!
I took up triathlons about 12 months ago, and almost ever since I have been searching for fuel that is a) convenient and b) doesn't make me feel sick. Almost everything I tried to take during workouts gave me cramps and/or GI problems...............
Today I tried the new Sport Beans by Jelly Belly, and for me they were amazing. They were the first product I have tried that didn't make me feel sick, and I actually felt they gave me a little bit more zip. They are also very convenient as they don't make a mess, and they are easy to portion out.
Give them a go!

PS I just want to say, I don't work for Jelly Belly or anything, they just really worked for me! But if there are any Jelly Belly reps who read this, and want to send me some packets for the free ad, feel free!!!

I've seen them at the running store, I'll have to give them a try! And, to top it off, I love Jelly Belly's!

They were handing them out at my last race and I had to laugh, my middle daughter is a Jelly Belly nut, she went over and grabed a handfull and passed them out to the family, I diddn't try them until about a week later and I love them, I'm not sure if they have any real food value but they sure taste good on a long bike ride:)

Well... Tried to order them on liine but the sites that carry them don't ship to the Virgin Islands :( I'll keep looking. Might be a nice reprieve on my IM bike.

I actually came across them at the supermarket, then I found them at my local bike shop, and they cost twice as much!
As far as nutritional value, apparently they are the equivalent of a gu or other gel.
